Forgiveness. That is a hard thing to do when we are staring our enemy in the face or experiencing the hardships faced by the enemy. There was Jesus being smacked, being kicked, being spat upon. I remember watching the movie, The Passion and weeping as I saw what the Romans soldiers did to Jesus. Yet, in spite of all this, he chose to forgive his tormentors. That’s something we can learn to do. Choose to forgive, not because they deserve it but because we want a peace of mind.
Ephesians 4:31-32
Never be bitter, angry, or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil. Be kind and loving to each other. Forgive each other the same as God forgave you through Christ.
